There have been many inspirational guitarists throughout the years. My favorite is considered one of the greatest ever and that is Eddie Van Halen. For those of you that don't know he is the lead guitarist for Van Halen. You may know popular songs like Jump, You Really Got Me, which is a remake considered better than the original, Panama, and others. Eddie was way ahead of his time with his style of playing. His solos and guitar riffs are still insane to this day. He is self taught and had no lessons from anyone so he messed around and developed his own kind of sounds that were unheard of and very liked by many rock fans and guitar enthusiasts. His finger tapping and ridiculously fast picking made the band as good as it was. Eddie is a big fan of using a lot of tone and it sounds absolutely amazing.
